Reviewed by a person, not a filter
Every contractor who joins Propinion is reviewed by a human before they can claim a request. We check the license number and issuing state they give us against the public state board record, and the "Licensed & Verified" badge only appears on profiles that pass that review. You pay one flat $75 for a written opinion on a single project in a single trade — the contractor is paid $50, we keep $25, and that split is printed on their page rather than hidden in your price. Delivery is due within 48 hours of a contractor claiming your project; if nothing is delivered inside your request window, your $75 is refunded automatically.
The license check is a manual review today. Automated license verification is on our roadmap, not the present.
